Question numero dos

Do you think I should delete some of the story telling things like gear shifter spread for example and instead add more mountain racing spreads? If you have any more ideas it would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Thats funny that you should be questioning the gear shifting spread, as I was actually telling a friend about how great I thought your book was, and used that spread as an example! I really liked that spread in particular, as you took the essence of what a pop-up book usually has, and applied it directly to your theme. I thought it was an interesting approach to the "pop up" style. So, no, I don't think you should take it out. It adds to the story, and it's nice to have these pages that give more to the story line. The mountain racing spreads are fantastic as well, and I have no doubt that they're coming along great, but I think its also important to maintain a sense of story throughout the book, while wow-ing your reader with your incredible pop-ups!

  2. I don't think you should take out that spread. I really like the different perspectives that you give the reader. You can see the cars, then a close-up on the inside, and then the car in front of them. I think this really ads interest to the piece and make the reader feel like they are a part of the story.
